吉林万通水体净化科技有限责任公司成立于2015年7月3日，依托于科研人员和瑞士WAWBG公司支持，目前有技术人员15人，其中职称3人，中级职称5人，初级职称7人，工厂生产人员8人。公司科技研发主要针对水体中无机组分（铁、锰、氟、三氮、铅、镉、铬、砷等）和有机污染化学组分（石油类、农药类、抗生素类等），研发水体（饮用水源）水质净化功能材料、工程工艺与技术，工程应用范围包括地表水生态恢复、地下水治理及饮用水水源水净化。 目前研发的新型净化水体功能介质材料，主要包括天然矿物类材料——火山渣、草炭土，资源转化材料——农业废弃物，人工改性合成材料等；水体净化技术代表的性包括：异位水体净化技术（单级和多级过滤系统及集成净化系统、氧化技术、杀菌技术等）、原位水体净化技术（反应墙（反应带）技术、抽取净化技术、生态恢复技术）等，基于所处东北地区水体水质特点，目前开展了水体净化工程，工程分布于大庆市、白城市、白山市等村镇、城市安全饮水工程及污水处理工程。 火山渣用于除铁猛，水族水净化，鱼池水净化都有很好的效果，成本低，可循环使用。火山渣还可以用于养花。火山渣又被称作火山岩，火山石，火山砾，有9种规格：0.25mm ，0.5mm ，1.25mm ，2.5mm ，3mm ，5mm ，10mm，3-5cm,6-12cm。可以用作水体净化材料，也可用作观赏用火山石，火山岩。
